Comet Moth (Argema mettrei)

One of the greatest most impressive moths in the world.

These are endemic to Madagascar, the males have extremely long tails and both sexes are very large and heavy.

The larvae do not need excessive temperatures, feeding well on Liquidambar at room Summer room temperatures.

I would advise pre booking on these for Summer as they will sell quickly with limited numbers available in Summer.
